Asian Glazed Salmon

Supplies

  • Large tupperware
  • Sheet pan

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon filets
  • Soy sauce
  • Honey (substitute: agave nectar)
  • Dijon mustard
  • Olive oil

Instructions

Marinate the Salmon

  1. Add soy sauce, olive oil, honey, and dijon mustard into a large tupperware container. Whisk together.
  2. Add salmon filets and ensure each piece is coated in the marinade.
  3. Put in fridge and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Bake the Salmon

  1. Preheat oven to 425º
  2. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean up. Spray foil with cooking spray.
  3. Place each filet on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 5-6 minutes per 1/2 inch height of filet.

Notes / Acknowledgements

This recipe was inspired by my mom’s baked salmon recipe. She used brown sugar and soy sauce, and would marinate in a large ziplock bag. I made her recipe religiously in college.
